Vintage Game Console, City Patrolman Retro Gaming System with Game

This is a retro game console and game, unused and in its original box (box is very worn from storage). This is a light gun game and will only work with CRT TV’s, IT WILL NOT WORK ON A MODERN FLAT SCREEN TV, so a retro TV set up will be needed. A CRT TV is the old style curved front box style televisions, in every home until LCD and LED TVs became popular; these are widely used by keen retro gamers for an authentic experience. This has never been used, it was bought in France, although it has an UK plug, from a game shop that closed down (I have 5 of these in total). We understand that this was made late 1990s/early 2000s.

The game is a simple on-rails light gun game where you shoot enemies such as gang members in an effort to protect the streets while avoiding their fire and not shooting any hostages. The player can choose one of 6 stages to start on, A bank, the Wild West, A mineshaft, A construction site, a desert, or a training stage. You can select the option to either shoot automatically or manually.
Enemies appear from all over the stage and you have to shoot them before they shoot at you, which takes some of your life away. When you kill them, they let out a yell as their sprite flickers before disappearing. Hostages can also appear, but shooting at them seems to have no consequences. Items can also be picked up for life. You can be shot up to 10 times before you lose one of your 5 lives. When you lose all of you lives, you can continue or get a game over. After you clear a stage, you are sent back to the menu to select another one.
This is PAL-B and comes complete with all the parts, unused and still with the instruction booklet. Please bear in mind that the box is very worn.
