An unusual vintage French taxidermy weasel or stoat, mounted on a wooden base and sourced from a French brocante market. Full of character, charming piece has the rustic, appeal often sought by collectors of natural history, curiosities, cabinet of curiosities displays and decorative taxidermy.

This piece has a rustic appeal, it is in good used condition with light nibbles to the ears and the usual musty smell of old French taxidermy This is either a weasel or a stoat, so please use the photographs as the main guide to species, condition and display potential.

This is an authentic vintage French brocante find in good used condition. It has some light wear to the ears and a musty smell, quite usual for older pieces. it is a fairly rustic mount rather than a professional piece. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
