This charming vintage French brocante find is an oval divided ceramic serving dish featuring two traditional recipes from the Savoie region of the French Alps: La Tartiflette and Salade Savoyarde.

With its rich blue ribbed exterior, creamy white speckled interior and colourful printed illustrations, this unusual French ceramic dish celebrates traditional Alpine cooking and French country kitchen style.

Each compartment features a different French recipe surrounded by illustrations of regional foods, Alpine flowers, cheese, wine and traditional Savoyard symbols. The La Tartiflette decoration includes a recipe for the famous potato and Reblochon cheese gratin, accompanied by illustrations of potatoes, cheese and wine. The Salade Savoyarde section features a regional salad recipe with illustrations of cheese, charcuterie, salad ingredients and the red-and-white coat of arms of Savoie.
