A lovely glazed ceramic kitchen storage jar for onions, traditionally labelled in French and in a good used condition with just a small nibble as shown. This has side air holes for fresher storage.

Personally sourced from a French brocante market, this has a wonderfully warm brown glaze with elegant dark French script lettering and matching ceramic lid. This is a small jar probably designed for pickling onions, not large English onions.

Both decorative and practical, this traditional French kitchen canister is ideal for displaying on a countertop, dresser or open shelving. The soft glaze and simple curving shape works particularly well in French country, farmhouse, rustic and cottage-style kitchens.

A characterful French brocante kitchenware piece and an attractive way to bring authentic French country style into the home.
