A charming and unusually small vintage French brocante find, this authentic 1 litre enamel irrigator features the classic white enamel finish with delicate blue marbled veining traditionally associated with French enamelware; this has the French makers stamp on the base. Originally made as a wall-mounted irrigator, this compact example is a rarer size than the more commonly found 2 litre versions and is ideal for repurposing as a vintage wall planter, herb pot, utensil holder or decorative wall pocket.

The flat-backed shape allows it to sit neatly against a wall, while the original hanging hole and small integral spout make it especially practical for use as a planter, with the spout providing natural drainage. Its compact 22cm size makes it particularly useful for smaller areas.
