A vintage French brocante find, this beautifully made graduated set of 5 copper saucepans is a classic example of traditional French cookware. Each pan is stamped Fabrication Française, meaning French made, and features a polished copper body, traditional tin-lined interior and sturdy cast iron handle.

The five pans graduate from 10cm to 18cm in diameter and nest neatly together when stored. With 1mm thick copper and a combined unpacked weight of approximately 3.2kg, they have a reassuringly substantial feel while remaining practical for everyday kitchen use.

The copper exteriors have been polished and present beautifully. The traditional tin interiors show natural darkening and signs of previous culinary use, however, there is no exposed copper visible so they are ready to use straight away.

Condition & authenticity

This is an authentic vintage French copper saucepan set sourced from a brocante in France.The copper has been polished and presents very well. The tin-lined interiors show natural darkening and signs of previous use but there is currently no exposed copper visible.

As with all genuine vintage cookware, there may be minor scratches, marks, tarnishing and signs of its previous life in a French kitchen. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition. One pan has a tiny shallow bump to the outer base, difficult to see unless closely inspected and not visible from the interior.
