Vintage French Copper Saucepan Set of 4 | 2mm Thick | Aluminium Lined Cast Iron Handles

This beautifully made graduated set of 4 copper saucepans is a classic example of traditional French cookware. Each pan features a polished copper body, aluminium-lined interior and sturdy cast iron handle.

The four pans graduate from 12cm to 18cm in diameter and nest neatly together when stored. With 2mm thick copper and a combined unpacked weight of approximately 4.3kg, they have a reassuringly substantial feel while remaining practical for everyday kitchen use die to their aluminium lining which is easier to clean than traditional tin lining.

The copper exteriors have been polished and present beautifully. The interiors show some pitting as well as marks and signs of previous culinary use, however, there is no exposed copper visible so they are ready to use straight away. These are not lightweight copper clad pans, they are 2mm thick copper lined with aluminium.

Condition & Authenticity

This is an authentic vintage French copper saucepan set sourced from a brocante in France. The copper has been polished and presents very well. The aluminium-lined interiors show pitting and signs of previous use but there is no exposed copper visible and they are ready to use straight away.

Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition. One pan has a tiny shallow bump to the outer base, difficult to see unless closely inspected but worth a mention.
