This charming small vintage French enamel casserole pot was found at a French brocante and dates approximately from the 1960s–1970s. Finished in a wonderful bright blue enamel with contrasting dark edging, it comes complete with its original lid and two side handles.

With particularly useful compact proportions. At just 16cm in diameter and with a 1.2 litre capacity, this petite casserole is ideally sized for cooking or serving for one, warming soup, individual stews and smaller portions. Its compact size also makes it particularly appealing for small kitchens, apartments and homes where efficient storage and smaller cookware are valued and as it is enamel, it can be used on a hob or in an oven.
