This colourful vintage French Banania advertising tin features the brand’s iconic character and vibrant design, making it a classic piece of French promotional history. Marked “Riz” on one side, this tin would originally have been used as a kitchen cereal canister for the popular brand. These were sometimes labelled with different foodstuffs so they could be kept and used afterwards; this was usually Cafe. Sucre etc - this an example of a rarer one for Rice (Riz). In France these remain a highly collectible item today
The tin is in fair vintage condition with authentic surface wear, some light rusting and a dent as shown, adding to its character. It has no cracks and no holes, and still displays beautifully as part of a kitchen collection, a retro advertising display, or a French-inspired interior.
