Vintage Bertine Porcelain Bowl with Lid, 1 litre Handmade Ceramic Pot (C47)

This is a charming French vintage porcelain bowl with a lid and 2 side handles. This has a 1 litre capacity and is an amber colour with brown accents. It was bought at a traditional brocante market in France and is in a good used condition with just a tiny nibble to the rim as shown and in keeping with its age. Looking at the style this likely dates from 1960s/70s. It has the makers name of Bertine on the base and PL which we presume to mean porcelain. This would look lovely as a mid century piece in any collection or in a farmhouse country style home. ideal for serving soup in a kitchen or as a storage jar around the home. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
