This vintage French porcelain bowl with lid is a charming example of mid-century French design. Made by Bertine, it features a warm amber glaze with brown accents, two side handles, and a fitted lid—perfect for serving soup, stew, or as a decorative storage jar.

Sourced from a traditional French brocante market, this lovely piece likely dates from the 1960s–1970s. The base is marked Bertine PL, which we believe denotes porcelain.

In good vintage condition, with just a tiny nibble to the rim consistent with age and use. It remains a beautiful and practical addition to any farmhouse kitchen, mid-century collection, or rustic country home.
