Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I buy a pair of these taps?

These measurements are not suitable for me, can this be made to my own measurements?
-Yes, this can be made to measure at no extra cost. Please see listing - Made to measure listing

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?

What size is this tap?
-See photos on each listing for the tap head sizes of all the taps we sell. This is a very short tap height, similar to the height of bathroom basin taps

What size is the water inlet pipework for this tap?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected.

Can this be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, this tap does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. It is designed to fit onto a countertop. It is fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter using the screws provided not from a back nut underneath.

Is this suitable for a bath?
-This will be suitable for some baths, although it is generally sold for basins and sinks as it has a water inlet pipe which is 15mm. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying this for a bath.

Can this be fitted to a quartz, slate, concrete or marble type counter top?
-We would not recommend this to be fitted to this type of worktop as it is secured by screwing holes into the surface from above not from a back nut underneath and these type of countertops may not take the small drill holes required. We recommend this for wood and laminate surfaces ONLY. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of tops but this is still in the design stage.

Can this be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes this can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use this as an outdoor taps?
-Yes, this tap is suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect this to my water inlet under my sink or basin?
-This is sold as complete tap fitting which has the standard UK 15mm copper pipe (tail end) attached below the counter where it is fitted. Your water inlet pipe can be attached to the tail end by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitment.

How often will I need to polish my tap to keep it shiny and what should I use?
-Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the tap, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my tap arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time 5 days after purchase. Please contact us before buying if your order is urgent as these can occasionally be sent earlier depending on current demand. All our taps are posted fully tracked by either DPD or  Royal Mail Tracked 48.
