A traditional vintage French brocante find, this set of six brown ceramic lion’s head soup bowls is classic French bistro tableware, perfect for serving French onion soup, chilli, stews and individual portions.

Each bowl features the distinctive moulded lion’s head decoration associated with traditional French soup crocks, with a rich brown glazed exterior and contrasting cream interior. This classic style is especially associated with French onion soup and makes a striking addition to a rustic farmhouse or bistro-style table.

With an individual capacity of approximately 400ml / 13.5 US fl oz, they are also a useful size for chilli, stew, casseroles, hearty soups and other individual portions.
