Monkey Shoulder Whisky Whiskey Advertising Bar Sign, Magnetic Mancave Pub Plaque

This original Monkey Shoulder Whisky advertising sign is a fantastic statement piece for any home bar, man cave, or garden pub. Purchased from a French brocante bistro that previously stocked the brand, it was never available for retail sale and was used exclusively as official merchandising material.

Made from durable modern hard plastic, the sign features a clever magnetic spring-mounted back, allowing it to stand slightly away from the wall for a floating, professional display look. It can also be fixed using screws (not included). Despite light signs of wear from its time in a working bar, it remains in good overall condition.

Monkey Shoulder as a brand launched in 2004, and this sign dates from no earlier than that. The reference to “Batch 27” celebrates the 27 original casks used to create the first blend. The name “Monkey Shoulder” comes from an old maltmen’s ailment caused by manually turning barley — a fun bit of whisky history that makes this piece even more interesting.
Lightweight at just 0.9kg, this is an easy-to-hang, eye-catching addition to any whisky lover’s space.
