Monkey Shoulder Whisky Whiskey Advertising Bar Sign, Magnetic Mancave Pub Plaque

This Monkey Shoulder Whisky Advertising Sign is a must-have for any man cave or bar. It is an original piece of advertising bought from a French brocante bistro that used to sell the brand. It is a modern hard plastic and has a magnetic back on springs for mounting, so its stands off the mounting surface looking like it is suspended rather than just flat (can also be secured with screws -not provided). It is in a good condition with some minor signs of wear as shown. This was not for retail sale, it was provided as merchandising material to the bar.  This is quite lightweight at just 0.9kg and will date from no earlier than 2004 as this is when the brand was launched by Grants. The "Batch 27" refers to the original batch of 27 casks that were vatted together to create the blend. The name "Monkey Shoulder" itself comes from a condition that malt men used to get from turning barley by hand. This would look great in any home bar or garden pub. 
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
