Very Long Handled Vintage Copper Pan, Antique French Copper, + 1m Long (A66)

This is a lovely antique vintage French copper long handled pan great for a display in a farmhouse kitchen; it is probably too big to use for cooking as it is 103cm long! This has been polished and has the renowned Villedieu Delalande makers stamp on the side; it has a metal/iron handle and would have historically been for use over a real fire; the long handle ensures a distance can be kept from the heat. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market and will be over 100 years old, looking at the style of the handle and the artisan quality. The inside of the pan is tin lined, this has faded with age but would still be very usable over a fire or firepit.  As we buy all our stock in France from local markets all the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. It is not always possible to show every minor scratch on a photo so if you are looking for new then these may not be for you. Any significant flaws are always highlighted in both photos and descriptions.  NB: Shown with a standard kitchen ladle for scale only (ladle not included) - this is a very long handled pan!
