Vintage French Goose Shaped Ceramic Casserole Pot – 2 Litre Roasting Pie Dish

A French ceramic casserole or roasting pot in the shape of a goose, complete with a sculpted goose head on the lid. Traditionally used for serving roast goose, this 2 litre dish is versatile enough to use as a deep pie dish, roasting pot, or even as a distinctive salad or pasta serving bowl.

Sourced from a French brocante market, this piece is estimated to be around 15–20 years old, making it vintage in style rather than true age. It is in good condition with no cracks and only light signs of use, as shown in the photos.

This dish makes a striking centrepiece at the dining table and is part of a series of French animal-shaped casserole dishes. We also have similar designs in the shape of a rabbit, chicken, and fish available in our shop.
