Condition & authenticity
These are sold in well used vintage condition, with patches of hide loss, water marks and wear to the wooden mounts as shown in the photos. They would benefit from a re-varnish to the wooden backboards. There is also the usual musty smell associated with old French taxidermy. The wear, marks and age-related imperfections are all part of their authentic vintage character and are reflected in the price. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description.
