Vintage French La Raclette Tiled Cheese Board with Cheese Wire | Wooden Serving Board

This wonderfully retro La Raclette cheese board combines a wooden base, ceramic tiled top and traditional integral cheese wire.

Bought at a French brocante, the decorative tile is headed “La Raclette” and depicts the ingredients traditionally served for this classic French Alpine meal, including cheese, potatoes, charcuterie, onions and cornichons. The French text adds plenty of authentic character and makes this an especially attractive piece of vintage French kitchenware.

The board has a wooden surround with the tiled preparation surface inset into the top. An integral handled cheese wire is fitted along one side, allowing cheese to be sliced directly on the board before serving.

As well as being a practical cheese board, it would make a lovely piece for a French-inspired kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or retro kitchen display — particularly for anyone who enjoys raclette, fondue, cheese evenings or traditional French food.
