Bring timeless craftsmanship into your kitchen or bathroom with this beautiful set of  copper and brass mixer faucet taps. Each piece is fully polished, hand-crafted, and water pressure tested, ensuring both durability and authentic rustic charm.

Designed to bespoke fit your own projection and pipe centre measurements and supplied with six fitting screws, these taps are perfect for pairing with a Belfast sink or with one of our French copper and brass basins available in our Tap and Basin collection.

Unlike cheaper, rough-cast alternatives, these taps feature a high-quality polished finish on all fittings, highlighting the care and skill that goes into each handmade piece.

Because they are individually crafted, the copper sections may show small indentations from the bending process—these are unique characteristics of handmade copper and not flaws.

❓FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS❓

Do these taps swivel?
-No these taps do not swivel, they are fixed.

Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

If the taps are unsuitable, can I return for a refund?
-This specific listing is for a custom size made to measure pair which are made specifically to your own measurements therefore they are generally not refundable. This set is bespoke size & made to your own specific measurements -  Bespoke items are exempt from The Consumer Act 2015 and Distance Selling Regulations and cannot be returned if you have mis-measured or they are unsuitable.

The measurements available are not suitable for me, can these be made to my own measurements?
-These are a custom size made to measure option, the dimensions shown are based on our experience selling this style. There is some room for movement on the measurements within reason. Please contact us with your sizes and we will check whether they can be made to your requirements. A little sketch is often the best way to clearly show measurements.

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the Copper Basins and Taps section of our website where you will find over 20 different styles including pillar taps and wall mounted taps.

What size are these taps?
-See photos on the listings and select you size from the drop down menu

What size is the water inlet pipework for these taps?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected. If you are buying these from Australia please check that this pipe size is compatible with the size you have in your home - 15mm is common but please check before ordering.

Can these taps be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, these taps do not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. They are designed to fit onto a countertop or can be purchased as a wall mounted option. Deck mounted are fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter using the screws provided not from a back nut underneath.

Do you sell a wall mounted version of these taps?
- Yes we do. For the wall mounted option of these taps including an option for exposed pipework, please see the following taps - Wall Mounted Mixer Tap

Are these taps suitable for a bath?
-These taps will be suitable for some baths, although they are generally sold for basins and sinks as they have a water inlet pipe which is 15mm. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying these for a bath.

Can these taps be fitted to a quartz, slate, concrete or marble type counter top?
-We would not recommend these to be fitted to this type of worktop as they are secured by screwing holes into the surface from above not from a back nut underneath and these type of countertops may not take the small drill holes required. We recommend these for wood and laminate surfaces ONLY or for wall mounting (select this option at checkout. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of tops but this is still in the design stage.

Can these be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes these can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join these to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use these as outdoor taps?
-Yes, these taps are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet?
-These are sold as complete tap fittings which have the standard UK 15mm copper pipe (tail ends) attached below the counter where they are fitted. Your water inlet pipe can be attached to these tail ends by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

If you have exposed wall mounted pipework or you need these as a wall mounted option please see the following listing - Wall Mounted Mixer Tap

How often will I need to polish my taps to keep them shiny and what should I use?
-Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the tap, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my taps arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 working days after purchase. Please contact us before buying if your order is urgent as these can occasionally be sent earlier depending on current demand. All our taps are posted fully tracked and free.

I have another question or I need some more advice about what tap to buy, can you help?
-Yes we can. These are made by Martin, our production partner, who is a gas engineer and plumber. He is more than happy to answer questions regarding tap size, style and fitting. We are often out of the country or in a noisy workshop so rarely hear the phone. The quickest way to contact us is through the website live chat (you will be speaking to a real person, either Martin or Louise, not a chat bot!) or our online contact form. If you would like a call back please leave your contact details. Alternatively, leave a message on our answerphone at 01772 494985 and we will call you back.
