Antique French Porcelain Ceiling Rose 7cm Vintage Lighting Canopy

A charming antique French porcelain ceiling rose, sourced from a French brocante, dating from around the mid-20th century or earlier. At just 7cm across (2.75 inches), this is a particularly small example compared with many traditional UK ceiling roses, making it an attractive choice for an authentic French vintage lighting installation.

Made from glazed porcelain with softly moulded decorative detailing, it has the character and imperfections associated with age, including some marks, nibbles and small chips around the screw-hole sections underneath. The screw holes remain usable and a screw still holds securely.

Because of its small diameter, please check the measurements carefully before purchasing, particularly if you are intending to replace an existing ceiling rose. A 7cm French ceiling rose may not cover the fixing holes left by a larger UK ceiling rose. It is therefore particularly well suited to a new lighting installation, newly plastered ceiling or ceiling refurbishment, where the fixing points can be positioned appropriately.
