Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

I only want one tap, can I buy these individually?

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the 'Copper Basins, Sinks & Taps' section of our website shop  where you will find over 20 different styles as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size are these taps?
-These taps have a small tap head, best suited to a smaller basin or sink, they may be too small for standard kitchen sinks, see measurements on the photographs for exact sizes.

The tap head is too small for my requirements, do you sell a chunkier tap?
-Yes we do, these taps are made from a dainty small tap head with 15mm copper pipework, we sell other taps in both 1/2 inch size and a chunkier 3/4 inch size which have thicker 22mm pipe rather than the standard 15mm as well as 2 other slightly larger styles. What size is the water inlet pipework for this tap?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected.

Can these taps be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, these taps does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. These are designed to fit onto a countertop. These are fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter from above using the screws provided. These are not fitted using back nuts.

Are these taps suitable for a bath?
-These taps will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks firstly because the taps are too small for a bath and secondly as they have a water inlet pipe which is 15mm. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath.

Can these taps be fitted to a quartz, slate, concrete or marble type counter top?
-Probably not, We would not recommend these to be fitted to this type of worktop as they are secured from above not with a back nut from below and these type of countertops would not take the 6 small drill holes required. WE RECOMMEND THESE FOR WOODEN AND LAMINATE TYPE WORKTOPS ONLY. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of counters but this is still in the design stage.

Can these be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes these can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use reducing fittings to join them to the inlet pipes. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use these as outdoor taps?
-Yes, these taps are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet under my sink or basin?
-These are sold as complete tap fittings which have the standard UK 15mm copper pipes attached below the counter where they are fitted. Your water inlet pipes can be attached to the tail ends by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

How often will I need to polish my taps to keep them shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 days after purchase.  Please contact us through the online contact form or live chat before buying if your order is urgent as these can occasionally be sent earlier depending on current order volume. All our taps are posted by Royal Mail Tracked 48.
