A beautiful vintage French brocante find, this white opaline milk glass ceiling pendant lampshade features a classic coolie shape, pleated pie-crust edge and its original brass gallery. Measuring approximately 24cm in diameter, this authentic French vintage light shade was sourced from a traditional market in France and is ideal for French country, cottage, farmhouse and period interiors.

The softly opaque white milk glass diffuses the light beautifully, while the decorative frilled edge and aged brass gallery give the shade its distinctive vintage French character. The original brass gallery fits a standard UK bulb holder.

Choose the shade and gallery only, or add a UK brass bayonet bulb holder with 50cm of twisted vintage-style brown or black electrical cable. Longer cable lengths are available on request at +£5 per metre.

Condition & Authenticity

This is a genuine vintage French lampshade in good used condition. There are a few small nibbles concealed beneath the brass gallery, together with light age-related marks and small bubbles or manufacturing variations within the glass. These are consistent with vintage glass production and previous use and do not detract from the appearance of the shade when installed.

All lighting and electrical installation work should be completed by a competent person. Please ensure the fitting is suitable for your intended use before installation.
