Vintage French Dinner Plates, 6 Artisan Made Regional Collectable Plates (B17)

This is a stunning collection of 6 artisan hand made collectable dinner plates or platters bought from a French restaurant. Each of these plates is unique and different to the next, they were originally made and sold individually for collecting rather than as sets. These currently sell individually on numerous selling sites from between £35-£75 for each plate! this sale is for all 6 plates. This collection is part of a sale from a restaurant that closed in the North of France. There are 3 Provence plates, 2 Savoie and one Normandie in the collection. They are all in a good condition with no cracks or chips. These are heavy plates weighing a hefty 7.3kg! These are quite large dinner plates which would also be suitable for serving platters at a party. These are not a mass produced item, they are handmade and will date from 1960s/70s if not earlier, they are truly a quality collection.
