This is a set of 4 French traditional lions head handle dipping pots; footed and with little lion head handles these style are traditionally used for serving French onion soup, however, these are a mini version of the soup bowls which are used for serving sauces or in some restaurants for a cheese sauce with dipping bread instead of the traditional cheese course. - See pictures which show these beside a soup bowl for size comparison. These little serving pots are ceramic and were purchased at a traditional French brocante market; they would suit a French style kitchen, farmhouse kitchen or would be great in a French restaurant or bistro. These are in a good used condition with no chips or cracks. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
