Dating from the late 1970s, this charming ceramic lidded dish was designed to serve rillettes—a traditional French meat spread prepared slowly in fat, much like a confit. Each piece in this range was handmade, giving it a unique character and warmth that embodies the rustic elegance of French kitchens.

The dish is in good vintage condition, with a small chip on the inside (not visible when displayed). Sourced directly from a French brocante, it makes a wonderful addition to any vintage kitchen collection, French country interior, or ceramic display shelf.
