Gien’s production process remains famously hands-on: up to twenty skilled artisans handle each piece during moulding, firing, decoration, and finishing. The result is a quality and character that modern production simply cannot replicate.

Bought at a traditional French brocante market, this set is in good used condition, with no cracks — just a small nibble on the underside of one plate and a little wear to the rims as shown.
