These are designed for fitting directly on to the front of a wall and are supplied with 6 fitting screws for easy installation. Built with durability in mind, they have a polished finish and a continuous water flow without an aerator, with a similar flow to an outdoor tap. The taps we sell are not mass produced, they are made to order by our production partner, Lea Gas & Heating.

Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I buy just one of these tap, I dont need a pair?
-Yes, you can buy a single one these here - Single Wall Tap .

If these are unsuitable, can I return them?
- Yes, returns are accepted if the item is unsuitable, provided it is in its original condition and has not been fitted. As all of our taps are handmade to order by our production partner, Lea Gas & Heating Services, we kindly ask customers to take careful measurements before placing an order to help minimise unnecessary returns for our small business.

The measurements available are not suitable for me, can the taps be made any longer?
-These can be purchased as a made to measure option up to 32cm projection here.

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the tap section of our website where you will find over 20 different styles including single and pairs of pillar taps, more wall mounted taps as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size is the tap head?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe behind the wall where the water is connected. 

Can these be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, these do not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. These are designed to fit to the front of a wall by screwing the brass base into the wall using the screws provided. They are not fitted using a back nuts.

Are these suitable for a bath?
-These will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks as they have a water inlet pipe which is a 15mm diameter. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath, or message us for advice.

Can these be fitted in a shepherds hut?
-Yes they can be fitted in a shepherds hut, we have sold many of these for camper vans, shepherds huts and horse box conversions. NB. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use these as outdoor taps?
-Yes, all the taps we sell are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet?
-This style of wall-mounted tap is designed to be fitted by securing it directly to the front of the wall. Please note that none of our wall-mounted taps are designed to come apart – each one is sold as a complete, soldered unit. To install this type of tap, you will need full access to the pipework behind your wall. For this reason, we recommend checking with your plumber (or contacting us) before purchasing to ensure this style is suitable for your installation.

-The water inlet pipe can be connected to the tail end using soldering, compression fittings, or push-fit connectors.

I have surface exposed mounted copper pipework, do you have taps that can be used for this type of fitting arrangement?
- Yes we do. If you have a surface mounted/exposed copper pipe we can make any of our tap heads to fit exposed pipe - message for details. We have a couple of these already listed -  See the Tap Section of our website

Can these be fitted as a direct replacement for my existing wall mounted taps?
- Probably not. These are made to be fitted from the front on walls where existing access behind is available, this is usually where a house is having a refit or a new build rather than as a direct swap. These do not come apart and cannot be fitted to copper pipes protruding from an existing wall as you will see the connection where you fit the copper inlet pipe to your existing pipe. The water inlet pipe must be connected behind the wall. Please check with your fitter or message for advice before buying if you are unsure. If you have a surface mounted/exposed copper pipe, this may fit -  we have a tap option which can be used without needing access to behind the wall. See the Tap Section of our website

How often will I need to polish my taps to keep them shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 working days after purchase.
