This is a bespoke, made to measure pair of vintage style taps (2 taps) which have copper pipework and brass tap heads with detachable nozzles. These kitchen or bathroom taps come supplied with 6 fitting screws and would look fabulous with any Belfast sink or alongside the French copper basin and sinks available in our website shop. All the taps we sell are rustic in design and do not have aerators so the flow of water is a continuous stream similar to that of an outdoor tap.
🚰FITTING: As these are fixed by screws from the top, not from a nut underneath, they are not recommended for a quartz, marble, concrete, slate or granite top. These are sold for  for wooden and laminate worktops ONLY. Please check with your fitter or message for advice before buying if you are unsure. These have been well made and has a nicely polished finish, they come in one piece not in separate pieces and do not come apart. These have a 15mm standard UK copper water inlet pipe which are suitable for bathroom basins, kitchen sinks, camper van conversions and outdoor sinks but may not be suitable for some baths which have a different size pipe connection, check before buying if these are for a bath.
⏰DISPATCH TIME  is usually 5 working days after purchase as all our taps are made to order. If your order is urgent please contact us via our website live chat or contact form before purchase for the first available dispatch day as we can occasionally dispatch these more quickly depending on our current order volume. ❓FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS❓

Can I buy just one of these taps?
-Yes, for a single tap please see the following listing. single tap

I would like to buy more than the number of taps listed as available. Do you have any more than the listing shows?
-Yes we do. We limit the number of taps on each listing in order to keep to our dispatch times but we do have at least 6 of each style of tap ready to make. Please contact us if you want to buy more than the number available and we will increase the listing.

If the taps are unsuitable, can I return them for a refund?
This specific listing is for custom size made to measure taps which are made specifically to your own measurements therefore they are generally not refundable. However, if you are having a problem with suitability please feel free to contact us through the website live chat or contact form and we will always do our best to help resolve any problems or give advice before buying.

The measurements available are not suitable for me, can the taps be made any taller?
-These taps cannot be made any taller as the 15mm copper pipework would not be strong enough. However, we have another style of taps which have 22mm copper pipework meaning they can be made taller. See the listing Chinky custom taps

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the 'Copper & Brass Taps' section of our website shop where you will find 4 or 5 different styles including single and pairs of pillar taps, more wall mounted taps as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size are these taps?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework for these taps?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected.

Can these taps be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, these taps do not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. They are designed to fit onto a countertop. These are fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter from above using the screws provided. These are not fitted using a back nut.

Are these taps suitable for a bath?
-These taps will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks as it has a water inlet pipe which is a 15mm diameter. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath, or message us for advice.

Can these be fitted in a shepherds hut?
-Yes these can be fitted in a shepherds hut, we have sold many of these for camper vans, shepherds huts and horse box conversions. NB. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use these as outdoor taps?
-Yes, these taps are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet?
- These are sold as complete tap fittings which have the standard UK 15mm copper pipe attached below the counter where they are fitted. Your water inlet pipe can be attached to the tail ends by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

Can these taps be fitted to a quartz, concrete, slate or marble type counter top?
-We would not recommend these to be fitted to this type of worktop as they are secured from above by small screws not from a back nut below and these type of countertops may not take the 6 small drill holes required. We would recommend these for wood and laminate tops ONLY. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of counters but this is still in the design stage.

How often will I need to polish my taps to keep them shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep taps shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 5 working days after purchase. Please contact us via live chat or our online contact form before buying if your order is urgent as we can occasionally dispatch earlier depending on our current order volume.

I have another question or I need some more advice about what tap to buy, can you help?
-Yes we can. These are made by Martin who is a gas engineer and plumber. He is more than happy to answer questions regarding tap size, style and fitting. As we are often in France or in our workshop the quickest way to contact us is via live chat or use our online contact form.
