This option is specifically designed for fitting to exposed copper pipework. This is where your pipework is mounted to the wall rather than behind the wall.

All of our taps are rustic in design and do not include aerators, giving you a natural, continuous flow of water—similar to a traditional outdoor tap.

• Each tap has a nicely polished brass finish. If you prefer the natural aged look of brass, simply leave the taps unpolished—over time they will naturally develop a rich, authentic patina.  
• This style of wall mounted tap is fitted with a 90 degree angled brass mount designed for use with existing surface mounted exposed copper pipe.
• It is fitted by attaching your existing copper 15mm water feed pipe on your wall into the brass fitting of the wall mount - this does not require solder as it is a compression fitting.
• You secure this to the wall by screwing the brass backplate with the supplied screws. The brass bracket can be made to accommodate a copper feed pipe from above, the side or from below.
• ➡️ Important Note: Please select the correct version of this tap based on where your own copper water feed pipe is positioned. The bracket is soldered in place during the making process and cannot be changed once received.

Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I buy a pair of these taps?
-Yes, for a pair tap please select quantity as 2

I need to buy more than the stock showing on the listing. Do you have more available?
-Yes we do. As we make all our taps to order we limit the number available in listings to ensure we can keep to our dispatch times. If you need more than the quantity listed, please message us and we will increase the number available to buy.

If this is unsuitable, can I return it?
-If your tap is unsuitable, we are happy to accept returns provided it ise unfitted, unused, and in the original condition.

The measurements available are not suitable for me, can the taps be made any longer?
-This can be ordered as a longer tap with a copper pipe extension from the Copper & Brass Tap section of the website.

What size is this tap?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework?
- This tap is designed to fit to your existing copper exposed pipe (not supplied) - it accommodates 15mm copper pipe. This is the standard size for UK houses. If you are buying from Australia - please check you have 15mm pipe size in your home before ordering.

Can this be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, this does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. This is designed to fit into a wall. It is  fitted by screwing the brass base into the wall using the screws provided. 

Is this suitable for a bath?
-This will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks as it accommodates a water inlet pipe which is a 15mm diameter. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath, or message us for advice.

Can this be fitted in a shepherds hut or camper van?
-Yes this can be fitted in a shepherds hut, we have sold many of these for camper vans, shepherds huts and horse box conversions. NB. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you may need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use this as an outdoor tap?
-Yes, this is suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet?
- This style of wall mounted tap is designed for connecting to existing surface mounted copper water pipe. It is fitted by attaching your existing copper 15mm water feed pipe on your wall into the brass fitting of the wall mount - this does not require solder as it is a compression fitting giving it a sleek look without the need for cumbersome connections in your pipework. You secure this to the wall by screwing the brass backplate with the supplied screws.

How do I know which position to buy?
-The brass bracket can be made to position either way up or from either side. See the pictures demonstrating where your copper water feed might be. It cannot be changed once you receive it - it is soldered in place as part of the making process - any questions please message for advice, feel free to include pictures of your pipework so we can advise you. If you’re buying two taps to use side by side, please be aware that both will sit at the same height on the wall. Depending on how your copper pipework is surface mounted, you may need to order one tap with a top feed and one with a side feed to ensure they fit correctly.

What will I receive and do I need to assemble it myself?
-You will receive a complete brass tap with bracket ready to fit. This includes fitting screws. It is soldered together and completely assembled as a unit and does not come apart. You do not receive the water inlet pipe (15mm copper piece) this is shown to demonstrate the position when fitted. This 15mm pipework is attached to your mains water feed into your house.

My copper water inlet pipe is behind the wall or I am having it designed to be hidden behind the wall, Do you make a tap for this type arrangement?
-Yes we do. Please visit the Tap section of the website here for our full catalogue.

How often will I need to polish my tap to keep it shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 working days after purchase. Please contact us via Live Chat before buying if your order is urgent as these can also often be sent earlier depending on current demand.
