French Vintage Taxidermy Polecat or Mink, Stoat Type Taxidermy Wildlife

This charming vintage European taxidermy animal (possibly a polecat/mink not sure which)  is a lovely example of natural wildlife taxidermy art. Displayed unusually, unmounted, this specimen has a lovely appeal with only light wear and tear from age; generally in a good condition. This will be at least 50 years old. This has a smoky musty smell from its life in France where it must have been in a smokers home or a musty garage. This type of smell usually lessens with airing or appropriate cleaning. This is reflected in the lower than usual price.
This was bought at a traditional French brocante market and is a used item as described above, this is all part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. It is not always possible to show every minor scratch on a photo so if you are looking for new then these may not be for you. Any significant flaws are always highlighted in both photos and descriptions.
