French 'Poubelle de Table', Farmhouse Chic, Retro Kitchen Table Bin (C45)

This is a charming French ceramic  'Poubelle de Table' which is a pot which is specifically for use on a dining table for table waste from a meal. These little table bins are common on French tables, very handy for cocktail sticks, fruit pips or stones, seafood shells, fish or meat bones etc. This is a very handy little pot for any dinner party or buffet. It is in a good used condition with no cracks, JUST A LITTLE NIBBLE TO THE RIM AS SHOWN; it has a grape pattern on the front and a rope type handle. It has a cork lid that has a handy cut out to allow you to easily remove it, This is a genuine French brocante find bought at a traditional market in the North of France: It would suit any country cottage or farmhouse style kitchen.  
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
