This French is a vintage ceramic casserole dish or deep pie dish dating from around 1970. This is brown in colour and it features a boar pattern making it ideal for ideal for game pie or casserole. This is in a good used condition with no chips or cracks as shown in the pictures which form part of the description. The mark on the side is a flaw in the moulding process as it is smooth to the touch, it is not a chip. This is a solid chunky pot weighing 1.2kg which would look great in any farmhouse style kitchen or country cottage.
All the items we sell are bought from French brocante fairs and flea markets so are used or vintage. They will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal - "If you are looking for new, these may not be for you".
