French Copper Fire Hose Nozzle, On Off Valve, Rare Vintage Monitor, Brass End

This is a stunning French vintage copper and brass fire brigade hose nozzle known as a hoe monitor. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market in the North of France and would be a quirky addition to any home. It would be an ideal up cycling project to turn into a lamp. This is a heavy piece weighing 4.6kg and has been polished. The valve still open and closes. The open and close writing is in French (Ouvert and Ferme). 
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
