French Chicken Coq Au Vin Bowl, Chicken Casserole Pot, 2 litre with 2 matching pots (B64)

This is a large French ceramic coq au vin bowl or chicken stew pot with 2 smaller matching pots. The large bowl has a 2 litre capacity and is decorated with a chickens head which was bought in France from a traditional French brocante market and we believe is used to serve coq au vin. It is a used item in a good vintage condition as shown in the photos. It has no cracks, just a little nibble to one side as shown. The bowls have a couple of manufacturing flaws in the ceramic, again as shown. This set will not have a great deal of age, maybe 10+ years, it is vintage in style rather than age. Whilst for coq au vin, it would also be a super pot to serve chicken salad or chicken casserole These bowls would also look beautiful on any kitchen table or at a Sunday dinner.
