French Pottery Stoneware Cherry Jar with Spoon Holder, Farmhouse Kitchen (A36)

This is a traditional French stoneware pottery cherry jar with a cork lid and side holes to hold a spoon made in a rustic vintage style. Cerises is French for cherries. This vintage stoneware jar has a lovely rustic feel and would look great in any French style, country style, farmhouse or vintage inspired kitchen as well as on a home bar top. It has the makers mark on the base. This is in good condition with no cracks as shown in the photos. We would imagine this dates from the 1970s by the style but it could be a little later/earlier. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market, as is all our stock and will have signs of a previous life, as such, if you are looking for brand new, then this may not be for you.
