This is a lovely set of 6 French Les Fromages cheese plates and a matching cheeseboard/platter made from ironstone with the stamp on the back of each plate. These are dated 1993 and each plate has a retro Les Fromages decoration. These plates are in a good used condition with no cracks, just the usual crackling of the underglaze and a couple of tiny nibbles as shown (one is on the back). This charming retro plate set would look great on any dinner table or for cheese and wine evenings.
All the items we sell are bought from French brocante fairs and flea markets so are used or vintage. They will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal - "If you are looking for new, these may not be for you".
