This handcrafted wall-mounted tap combines solid brass and copper for a durable, industrial-inspired design. Each piece is made to order, pressure tested, and built to last, offering both functionality and distinctive style.
Designed with an angled brass mounting plate, this version is designed for surface-mounted existing pipework. For concealed pipework installations, a behind-wall version is available in the Copper Basins & Taps section of our website.

The tap features a 3/4-inch solid brass head with a detachable nozzle and 22mm exposed copper pipework, giving it a heavier, more substantial appearance than the smaller 1/2-inch model. It is supplied with three brass fixing screws for secure installation and can be used indoors or outdoors.

💡Key Features:

  • Hand crafted, copper and brass construction
  • Wall-mounted with angled brass plate (for surface-mounted pipework)
  • 3/4" solid brass tap head with detachable nozzle
  • 22mm exposed copper pipework for a chunkier look
  • Supplied with 3 brass fixing screws
  • Water pressure tested
  • Rustic in design and do not include aerators. Water flows in a continuous stream, similar to an outdoor tap.
  • Pairs beautifully with Belfast sinks, utility basins, or our own French copper up-cycled sinks

📏Dimensions:

  • Outlet projection from wall to spout centre pipe centre 22cm
  • 15mm compression connection - this is designed for a standard UK 15mm copper water feed pipe.
  • Outer pipework is chunky 22mm but connection remains the standard 15mm.

💡Fitting Information:

This wall-mounted tap is designed with a 90° angled brass mount, making it suitable for use with existing surface-mounted copper pipework.

Installation is straightforward:

  • Connect your existing 15mm copper water feed pipe directly into the brass fitting of the wall mount.
  • This is a compression fitting, so no soldering is required.
  • Secure the brass backplate to the wall using the three supplied screws.
  • Configured to accommodate a water feed pipe entering from above, the side, or below.
  • Please ensure you select the correct tap version based on the location of your copper feed pipe, as this orientation is fixed during the making process and cannot be altered afterward.
  • For concealed pipework installations, a behind-wall version of this tap is available in our Copper Basins & Taps section. For further guidance, please refer to our FAQ section below for detailed fitting advice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I buy this as a pair?
-Yes, for a pair please select quantity as 2. If buying two taps, you may need one top feed and one side feed depending on your pipework – contact us if unsure.

If this is unsuitable, can I return it?
-Yes, this can be returned if it is unsuitable as long as it is in original condition and unfitted. However, as a small business that makes all our taps to order, they are not an item we stock, we would appreciate careful measurements before ordering in order to keep our losses to a minimum. If you are having a problem with suitability please feel free to contact us and we will always do our best to help resolve any problems or give advice before buying.

These measurements available are not suitable for me, can the tap be made any longer?
- Yes we sell this as a made to measure custom size tap - please message with your sizes and we will create an option to buy

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the tap section of our website where you will find over 20 different styles including single and pairs of pillar taps, more wall mounted taps as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size is this tap?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework for this tap?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe you already have on the wall where the water is connected. Although this has exposed 22mm chunky pipework, the inlet is still 15mm.

What will I receive and do I need to assemble it myself?
-You will receive a complete tap and 22mm pipework with bracket ready to fit. This includes fitting screws. It is soldered together and completely assembled as a unit and does not come apart. You do not receive the water inlet pipe (15mm copper piece) this is shown to demonstrate the position when fitted. This 15mm pipework is attached to your mains water feed into your house.

My copper water inlet pipe is behind the wall or I am having it designed to be hidden behind the wall, Do you make a tap for this type arrangement?
-Yes we do. Please see the following listing - Wall Mounted Copper Tap for this tap designed for buried pipework. We have a range of different styles for this type of fitting, please visit the Tap section of the website here for our full catalogue.

How do I know which position to buy?
-The brass bracket can be positioned either way up or from either side, depending on your pipework layout (see product images for examples). Please note that the orientation is fixed during the making process — it is soldered in place and cannot be altered once you receive the tap.

If you’re unsure which version you need, feel free to contact us with details or photos of your existing pipework and we’ll be happy to advise.

For customers purchasing two taps to install side by side, please be aware that both taps will align at the same height on the wall. Depending on how your copper pipework is surface mounted, you may need to order one tap with a top feed and one with a side feed to achieve the correct installation.

Do you supply the water inlet pipe?
--This is not supplied with the 15mm copper inlet pipe (pictures are for demonstration of position) as you should already have this in your property - it is attached to your mains water supply.

Can this tap be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, this tap does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. This is designed to fit onto a wall with existing 15mm copper pipe. This is fitted by screwing the brass base into the wall using the screws provided.

Is this tap suitable for a bath?
-This tap will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks as it has a water inlet pipe which is a 15mm diameter. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath, or message us for advice.

Can this be fitted in a shepherds hut?
-Yes this can be fitted in a shepherds hut, we have sold many of these for camper vans, shepherds huts and horse box conversions. NB. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use your taps as outdoor taps?
-Yes, all the taps we sell are suitable for outdoor use. This tap has a 1 inch nozzle; standard Hose lock connectors may be smaller - adaptors are easily available if you wish to use this with a snap on connection.  Amazon have one here or they are available at any plumbing shop

How do I connect this to my water inlet?
- This style of wall mounted tap is designed for connecting to existing surface mounted copper water pipe. It is fitted by attaching your existing copper 15mm water feed pipe on your wall into the brass fitting of the wall mount - this does not require solder as it is a compression fitting giving it a sleek look without the need for cumbersome connections in your pipework. You secure this to the wall by screwing the brass backplate with the supplied screws.

Can this tap be fitted as a direct replacement for my existing wall mounted tap?
- Sometimes. If you have an existing wall mounted copper pipework attached to a tap, then this can be mounted in its place. This is connected to your copper inlet into the brass compression fitting. The brass bracket then screws to the wall Please check with your fitter or message for advice before buying if you are unsure.

How often will I need to polish my tap to keep it shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

I am in overseas, can I buy your taps?
-If you are in Australia where pipework is often 15mm (please check) you can buy these at checkout. For all other areas, please contact us and we will check they are compatible before purchase.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 working days after purchase.  Please contact us via the contact form or live chat before buying if your order is urgent as these can sometimes be sent earlier depending on current order demand.
