Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I buy just one of these taps?

I need to buy more than the stock showing on the listing. Do you have more available?
-Yes we do. As we make all our taps to order we limit the number available in listings to ensure we can keep to our dispatch times. If you need more than the quantity listed, please message us and we will increase the number available to buy.

If these are unsuitable, can I return them?
-If your taps are unsuitable, we are happy to accept returns provided they are unfitted, unused, and in their original condition.

As each tap is made to order rather than held as stock, we kindly ask customers to be as certain as possible before purchasing. If you are unsure, we encourage you to contact us for advice prior to ordering—this helps us reduce unnecessary costs and waste as a small business.

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the Copper Sinks and Taps section of our website shop where you will find over 20 different styles including single and pairs of pillar taps, more wall mounted taps as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

What size are these taps?
-Please see measurements on the photographs in the listing for exact sizes.

What size is the water inlet pipework?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe behind the wall where the water is connected. This is the standard size for UK houses. If you are buying from Australia - please check you have 15mm pipe size in your home before ordering.

Can these be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, these taps do not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. They are designed to fit into a wall. They are fitted by screwing the brass base into the wall using the screws provided. They are not fitted using a back nut.

Are these suitable for a bath?
-These taps will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks as it has a water inlet pipe which is a 15mm diameter. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath, or message us for advice.

Can these be fitted in a shepherds hut or camper van?
-Yes they can be fitted in a shepherds hut, we have sold many of these for camper vans, shepherds huts and horse box conversions. NB. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can I use these as outdoor taps?
-Yes, they are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet?
- These wall mounted taps are fitted by screwing onto the front of the wall, they do not come apart, they are a sold as complete soldered units and you will need full access to the pipes behind your wall to fit this as it does not come apart, so please be sure you can fit these to the wall in this way or check with your plumber or ourselves before buying. Your water inlet pipe can be attached to the tail end by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

I have surface exposed mounted copper pipework, do you have taps that can be used for this type of fitting arrangement?
- Yes we do. If you have a surface/exposed mounted copper water inlet pipe we have a tap option which can be used without needing access to behind the wall. See the following listing Copper & Brass Exposed Pipework Tap

Can these be fitted as a direct replacement for my existing wall mounted taps?
- Probably not. These taps are made to be fitted from the front on walls where existing access behind is available, this is usually where a house is having a refit or a new build rather than as a direct swap. These are designed and supplied as complete units already soldered together, as such they can only be fitted from the front of the wall. This means that to connect your water supply you will need full access to the wall behind where the tap is to be fitted. How often will I need to polish my taps to keep them shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time of 3-5 working days after purchase. Please contact us via Live Chat before buying if your order is urgent as these can also often be sent earlier depending on current demand.
