Are your taps suitable for use in a commercial setting?
- All the taps we sell are designed for use in a domestic setting only, either indoor or outdoor. They are not sold as suitable for commercial premises.

Can I  buy just one of these taps?
-Yes you can, please see listing Single Copper & Brass Tap

These measurements are not suitable for me, can the taps be made to my own measurements?
-Yes, these can be made to measure at no extra cost. Please see here - Custom Size Copper & Brass Taps

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See Copper Basins, Sinks and Taps section of our website where you will find over 20 different styles as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

I want to buy a number of these and the listing only shows 3, do you have anymore?
-Yes we do. We limit the number of taps listed at any one time in order to ensure we can keep to our delivery times. We have at least 6 of each style available. Please message with your requirements and we will adjust the available amounts to buy.

If these are unsuitable, can I return them?
-Yes, if these are unsuitable we are happy to accept returns as long as the taps are unfitted and in the original condition. However, as these are made to order, rather than a stock held item, we are only a small business so would appreciate if you could be as sure as you can before ordering and would encourage you to ask for advice if you are unsure in order to keep our costs and losses to a minimum.

What size is the tap head?
-These taps have a very small tap head, best suited to a smaller basin or sink, they will be too small for standard kitchen sinks, see measurements on the photographs for exact sizes.

The tap head is too small for my requirements, do you sell a chunkier tap?
-Yes we do, these are dainty small tap heads with 15mm copper pipework, we sell other taps in both 1/2 inch size and a chunkier 3/4 inch size which have thicker 22mm pipe rather than the standard 15mm as well as 2 other slightly larger styles. What size is the water inlet pipework?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected.

Can this style of tap be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, this style does not fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. This is designed to fit onto a countertop. This is fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter from above using the screws provided. This is not fitted using a back nut.

Are these suitable for a bath?
-These will be too small for a bath. 

Can these be fitted to a quartz, slate or marble type counter top?
-We would not recommend these to be fitted to this type of worktop as they are secured by screwing holes into the surface from above not from a back nut underneath and these type of countertops may not take the small drill holes required. We recommend these for wood and laminate surfaces ONLY. We are looking to develop a tap for these types of tops but this is still in the design stage.

Can these be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes these can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join this to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Are your taps suitable for outdoor use?
-Yes, all the taps we sell are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect these to my water inlet under my sink or basin?
-These are complete tap fittings which have been soldered - they do not come apart for fitting - the standard UK 15mm copper pipe attached below the counter where it is fitted. Your water inlet pipes can be attached to the tail ends by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments. This style of tap does not come apart into separate pieces - it is soldered together to form one complete unit

How often do you need to polish brass and copper to keep it shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep it shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-All our taps are made to order with a usual dispatch time 3-5 days after purchase. Please contact us before buying if your order is urgent as these can occasionally be sent earlier depending on the current order volume. All our taps are posted fully tracked by either DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 48.
