Gothic Style Light Fitting, French Vintage Metal Ceiling Light Chandelier (A81)

This is a charming vintage metal and wood light fitting with 2 lights. The shades are a copper coloured copper and the frame is black/grey metal with a wooden beam. Like all vintage lighting from France, it will need to be checked, fitted and re-wired if necessary by a qualified electrician as French electrics are different to ours and the wiring it has will be 50+ years old. It is not PAT tested. Looking at the style this probably dates from the 1970s if not a little earlier. This was bought at a traditional brocante market in France and it would add be unusual talking piece in any home. It is in a good used condition with age related signs of wear as you would expect from an older used item; some rusting to parts of the metal and some wear signs to the wood. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
