French Copper Pan, Small 12cm Copper Pot, Aluminium Lined - makers stamp (B24)

This is a charming little 12cm French copper saucepan with aluminium lining, cast iron handle and the Metaux Ouvres makers stamp. This was bought from a traditional French brocante fair and is a copper clad pan making it easier to handle and ideal for everyday use. Aluminium lined pans can be cleaned more robustly than tin lined copperware as the aluminium does not wear in the same way as tin. This is in a good used condition as shown on the pictures which form part of the description with some light marks and a little distortion in keeping with its age (1970s/80s).  This copper kitchenware would add a country French flair to any farmhouse style or cottage kitchen and whilst ideal for a hanging display, it can absolutely be used as everyday cookware. 
All the items we sell are bought from French brocante fairs and flea markets so are used or vintage. They will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal - "If you are looking for new, these may not be for you".
