This is a charming vintage French metal paper filing tray desk tidy bought from a traditional French vintage market, dating from around 1950s or 60s. This holds the 4 coloured metal trays or drawers in a metal frame and would be ideal home office storage. This is quite heavy for its size as it is all metal NOT plastic, weighing 2.8kg. It has 3 file tab holders on the front. rusty with age but still useful. It is rare to find such a lovely vintage office set like this still in a usable condition. The file trays are all in tact and the coloured powder coating is in a good condition. The metal frame has the expected light rusty from decades of use in a French company office. The files easily hold A4 size papers. This would add a fabulous vintage retro touch to any office, either at home or at a workplace. It could also be used as in a vintage or retro style kitchen or bedroom. the drawers are 6.5cm deep so have many uses. We buy all our stock in France from local markets and as such all the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. This is all part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. It is not always possible to show every minor scratch on a photo so if you are looking for new then these may not be for you. Any significant flaws are always highlighted in both photos and descriptions. This does not dismantle so will be posted as shown in the pictures. No assembly is required.
