Vintage French Salad Plate Set, 6 Plates for different salads (B14)

This is a lovely set of 6 French vintage salad plates with the makers stamp on the back of each plate. These will probably date from 1950s if not earlier; each plate has a pattern of a different salad from France and the Limoges makers stamp on the back. These plates are an old set in a well used condition with no cracks  but some staining and mottling as shown; and would be an interesting talking point at any dinner table. The salads are written in France and translate as Egg and lettuce, Chicory and croutons, Tomatoes and cucumber, Dandelions/rocket and bacon, Watercress and tomatoes and Walnut and Romaine lettuce.
All the items we sell are bought from French brocante fairs and flea markets so are used or vintage. They will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal - "If you are looking for new, these may not be for you".
