Vintage French Pendant Light, Blue Milk Glass, Hanging Interior Lampshade (B69)

This is a French vintage milk glass ceiling pendant lamp shade now up cycled with new twisted vintage style wiring, vintage style brass gallery and a new brass standard UK bulb holder. This is a pale blue glass in a folded design dating from around 1940s. The new bulb holder takes a standard UK bayonet bulb. THIS IS SOLD WITH WIRING FOR UK ELECTRICS, if you are buying from outside the UK you may need to re wire this with wiring suitable for your country (not supplied). This pendant light is in a good used condition as shown with some minor flaws from the making process. This is not a factory made shade, it is handmade so may have some bubbles and flaws in the glass, these are not cracks, just part of the vintage making process. The nibble shown is smooth to the touch, it is not a chip, just a flaw during hand making.
This was bought at a traditional French brocante market and is not sold with a ceiling rose as the French roses are usually much smaller than standard UK versions. This can be wired straight into an existing rose or a new one. There is a small selection of the smaller vintage porcelain roses in the lighting section of the shop if a smaller one is suitable for your fitting.
All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, in the case of lights like these this may mean flaws in the glass during the making process, eg. bubbles. This is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such, if you are looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
