Set of 10 Vintage French Ceramic Escargots Shells, Escargot Snail Serving Cups (B47)

This is an unusual set of ceramic escargots serving pots, known as snail cups, each designed for one snail.  These are in a good condition and sit flat on a table or plate; they are all brown and beige in colour, they each vary in shade, slightly as does ceramicware. These were bought from a French restaurant and could be used to cook the snails in and then for serving as they are oven to table ceramic shells. These would be fabulous for any lover of escargots, or equally great for use in a restaurant or cafe as individual butter pots. Equally they could be used as little place settings or just as decoration. All the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal. As such if you looking for something 'new' then this is probably not for you.
