This is a lovely antique vintage French copper long handled ladle great for a display in a farmhouse kitchen or to use for cooking. This is tin lined and has been polished; it has an iron handle that is longer than a usual one this so would likely have been for use in a commercial environment or for use over a real fire; the long handle ensures a distance can be kept from the heat. This was bought at a traditional French brocante market and will be over 100 years old, looking at the style of the handle and the artisan quality. As we buy all our stock in France from local markets all the items we sell are used or vintage and will show signs of a previous life. It is not always possible to show every minor scratch on a photo so if you are looking for new then these may not be for you. Any significant flaws are always highlighted in both photos and descriptions.
