Vintage Rustic French Aluminium Metal Milk Churn, Garden Planter or Wedding Prop (C67)

This is a charming vintage rustic French milk churn. These churns were commonly used in France from around 1930/40s if not earlier to store and transport milk. This churn has a great rustic look and a lovely patina earned through many years of use. The churns have a nice wide opening at the top and make great planters and this one still has its original lid. These are often converted into stools. This is a genuine French vintage item with the French stamp. The churns were not originally sold on their own, they were just for transporting liquids, usually milk. This is in a good used condition with the usual signs of age including a small bump to the lid and some age related marks and scratches to be expected from a used piece and shown in the pictures which form part of the description.
