Traditional French Baguette Box, Farmhouse Chic Bread Box, Quirky Umbrella Stand

This is a charming traditional vintage wooden traditional French baguette box. These are commonplace in French kitchens and this one looks to have been well used and well loved over its life. It is fairly lightweight wood/plywood in places at 3.5kg and has scratches and marks in keeping with its 40+ years (probably more) and may benefit from a little TLC - perhaps a re-varnish or up cycle with a colourful paint. The front where it is patterned is often a curtain but this is in fact a piece of plywood so easier to stay clean, Although, for a rustic or farmhouse kitchen, it is perfectly suitable to be used without any refurbishment. Whilst this is a baguette box, these are often repurposed into quirky hallway umbrella stands.
