French Ceramic Goose Shaped Casserole Dish, Farmhouse Cooking Pot (A49)

This is a large French ceramic roasting dish or casserole pot in the shape of a goose. This is a charming 3 litre dish decorated with a goose head on each handle which was bought in France from a traditional French brocante market. It is a used item in a good vintage condition as shown in the photos. It has no cracks, just a few light surface scratches inside the speckled base. This dish will not have a great deal of age, maybe 10+ years, it is vintage in style rather than age. This would be a super pot to serve a goose recipe or take a roast goose straight to the table. It would also look beautiful on any kitchen table, Sunday dinner or even for Christmas day.
