French Wall Mounted manual Bottle Opener, Vintage Hand Pull Corkscrew (C69)

This is a lovely French wall mounted wine bottle opener corkscrew which would look great in a kitchen. These manual corkscrews are often seen on the walls of restaurants, probably for decoration although they can absolutely be used. These are usually found without the corkscrew, so this will have been replaced at some time. Although any corkscrew will be fine to use. This was purchased at a traditional French brocante market and is likely 15-20 years old, maybe a little more. The decorative plaque under the lever is of a chateau. This is a chunky item weighing 2.35kg which would add a French flair to any home or garden pub. We find a few of these corkscrews each year but they are generally plain cast iron; this polished metal piece is one of the more unusual ones we have come across. As shown in the photo this is in a good used condition with signs of wear and tear. All the items we sell are used or vintage and show signs of a previous life, this is part of their unique French shabby chic appeal.
