French Vintage Restaurant Terrine Press, Country Chic Ham Press, 6 litre (A6)

This unusual piece of French vintage kitchenalia is a ham or pate press from a French restaurant. This was bought from a traditional French brocante market and is used to press liquid out of terrine or pate as part of the making process. The top is used to press down the terrine in stages using the graduated heights on the brackets of the lid. These side handles are actually designed to be stood on in order to press down the lid as far as possible. This is made from aluminium and would look great in any farmhouse style kitchen or French restaurant, equally useful as a prop or for decoration. This is a used item in a rustic and very well used condition with signs of its 50+ years in a French restaurant as shown in the pictures which form part of the description. It has pitting and significant wear, it would be fine to use but would be best used with a greaseproof paper lining, please see all pictures and the video. It is priced to reflect the condition.
